When I got Malibu Rising I was so excited about reading a Taylor Jenkins-Read book for the first time! I loved the main character but the others were a let down. I felt so sad for what has happened but honestly I felt like this was so full of emotion but it lacked in other areas.
I felt like there should have been a authors note for triggers which I think for me and possibly future readers would have helped with the reading experience.
