I really liked it! The beginning was so slow tho, it took me a long time to get hooked in, maybe 150 or so pages? (I think it was all the pirating stuff that I didn’t really care for, sorry). But once I was hooked, I was hooked. I love kell and rhy and Lila. (But also she can be so annoying sometimes, like I get it you’re not like other girls). Alucard is also quite slay. Honestly not much happens in the book, like the plot is there but is it really? It’s definitely  a filler book that just sets up the next book in the series. The whole point of the book was more about fleshing out relationships with characters after the last book, instead of being action based. It’s supppper slow paced in the beginning but it speeds up, a little too quickly I thought, since all the action is in the end of the book. But anyways so excited for the next book !! Bit sad since this triology will be ending tho. Go VE Schwab another amazing book 👏
