Out with the Tide by Julie Olivia

5.0

there is quite honestly nothing like a book written by Julie Olivia. I loved being back in Never Harbor so much. The Davies family makes my heart SO FULL. And meeting more people in the town and seeing how everyone interacts and always shows up for each other?? It is all SO good! And listen I LOVED Off The Hook, but there is SOMETHING about a sunshine boy and a sunshine girl who just a little lost!?

Cass and Marina 🥹🥹 the accidental roommates to friends to lovers!? How quickly and easily Cass starts calling Marina ‘honey’?! Their cutie little hand holding like otters?! They were SO SOFT. They started sharing a bed but FOREVER were like ‘yeah it’s cool we’re just roomies, no feelings here’ and I truthfully loved every second. Mostly because they were still FRIENDS, it wasn’t JUST about fighting their romantic feelings. The slow burn to just comfortably together was seamless??!

Cass deeply doubted himself, he felt like something was missing, that he was ‘just’ Cass, he wasn’t like his brothers? But the way he showed up for EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN TOWN no matter what? Everyone loved him so much and when he needed them they all rallied behind him and it was so freaking sweet!! I also loved seeing Marina really find her roots! She was really struggling and had been for a while. But being back home, finding something that made her happy, finding someone that made her happy and feel seen and the fact that was also able to help Cass when and where he needed it was SO good for her.

I am SO EXCITED for the next Never Harbor book!!! I had a feeling I knew which couple it would be and I am EXCITED! And I’m of course excited the other books Julie has planned for the rest of the year!

Thanks to Julie Olivia & Pen Pal PR for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!
