OMG the inner monologues!
By the time on of them says "Hello" it takes 2 full pages for the other one to answer and I have totally forgotten what the question was in the first place and have to flip back to remember.
The story was good but as I've pointed before, there's too much inner monologues and descriptions between dialogues and actions that you start to skip entire paragraph just to keep the interest going.
