A deeply epic and very queer book. Martha Wells is an incredibly versatile and powerful writer; fans of Murderbot will find a lush fantasy world very different from the Corporation Rim planets but with the same depth of intrigue and stubborn, driven characters who want to protect others despite their own past experiences. Can’t wait for the next one!
