The Monster and the Last Blood Match by K.A. Linde

You may want to sink your teeth into this one if you like humans and vampires, slow burn and tension, secrets

Who thought it would be a good idea to let me start this book on a Friday Night when I had nothing to do the next day and couldn’t sleep? Oh, right me. I thought it would be a good idea. I ripped through the first 40% of this book in one night while listening to the soft murmuring snores of my dog and was absolutely itching to get back into it when I woke up the next morning. When I say it was lucky for the things that I had to get done that my kindle needed to be charged and I could tuck it away, I really do mean it, because the moment I finished up everything that needed to be done, my face was pressed back against that kindle screen.

I don’t read as many human/ vampire books and sometimes I forget how much I love them. With the delicious tension and slow burn that I’m quite sure you probably could have cut with a knife going on in this book, I was hooked. There were a few things I caught on to part way through but most of it hit me like a baseball bat as I rounded a corner, especially when I wasn’t looking at the percentage and I flipped the page to see the acknowledgments. I may never recover, if anyone would like to help - I’m a size book 2, thank you.
