The Two Lives of Lydia Bird by Josie Silver

4.0

The idea of losing the love of your life is gut-wrenching and that is exactly how the author portrayed Lydia Bird's loss. This book gives you an interesting perspective of someone working through her grief and discovering that her identity has split in the wake of tragedy. Life before the accident and life after the accident. But the way that the author transforms the main characters are beautiful in a fantastical way. I can definitely see this book turned into a classic rom-com...think Serendipity.
