I almost squealed when Aren and Lara showed up in Maridrina.

 

Though I hated and rushed through most of Zarrah's pov,

I loved the final battle. I thought Saam was gonna die, given he had an almost golden retriever energy but thankfully he didn't. 

I guess we all knew that Keris would eventually give up his kingdom. I'm glad he didn't change into a bad guy like I feared.

 

I started to like Aren in this story more than I liked him in his story. Probably because of all the mockery. It was funny and a bit heartwarming.
