I didn’t like Peter’s storyline at all and I felt that the open ending was abit “they live happily ever after”. putting Peter into a throuple was a very easy way out of a complicated and confusing problem. Ivan and Margaret’s story wasn’t properly fleshed out and could have continued in a very different and better way from Margaret’s mum finding out onwards. At times the writing became repetitive when switching between the different povs, especially when the brothers were together.

I understand what Sally Rooney was trying to do and appreciate the way she tried to convey it but this book was super disappointing, especially because it was SO hyped up.
