As an adult reader, I often forgot this book was YA because the themes of privilege, justice, and prejudice were so expertly woven with the world building and tense plot. If you’re into “will they won’t they” romance, you’ll be happy! It has dark, moody vibes like the Cruel Prince series by Holly Black.
