Considering my first stop before a therapist was organized religion I'm not exactly surprised a mentally ill person could become sucked into a cult via the guise of healing/getting better/'treatment'. Veena's journey from suicidal teen to single mom stuck in an abusive cult made me think with unease, this could have happened to any one of us.
