Alice has lost her mother, and although she tries to run away from the pain, she can't. Her relationship with her father is slowly dying, and to make it worse, he just have another child with his new wife. To top it all off, Alice is having a fight with her best friend. Life sucks for this poor girl.
After being caught in a snow storm with little food and a big responsibility, Alice gets a new perspective on her life.
This is an amazing book. I really got emotionally caught up in it. I loved the little bits about Alice in Wonderland. It has always been one of my favorite books too. Since I just had a baby, everything about Ivy really spoke to me. I could relate to many things, and it was an enjoyable read.
