I wanted to love this--because it's Tarryn f*cking Fisher and she's a genius--but I just couldn't. The first 60-70% (I didn't look) was great! I was loving Billie and the new life she was building for herself, but then things started to feel rushed and chaotic and very inauthentic. People forgave and forgot so quickly and easily that is was hard for me to continue believing in their story. There was a subplot that I felt was all but forgotten and the ending felt very rushed compared to the first half. Not a terrible book, by any means. Tarryn's writing is always amazing. I just struggled to stay connected for the last 30% or so.
