The Return of Frankie Whittle by Caroline England
4.5
I loved this book and the way that it was told. With it being split into parts lent itself to build suspense in the story which helped me keep turning the page. Caroline has created a cast of characters headed up by Frankie and Nina (mother and daughter) who are the fiercest and strongest women who have been thorough some traumatic events. This being set in the UK made it feel more and more real to me and when we had the reveal about the gated community it had me sitting on and edge. The author has managed to transform a small community into something more.
