i love plot of this series plss
….buutt let me tell you first, if you are looking for the same exact type of book as butcher&blackbird u r gonna be a lil let down because for me it doesn’t have the same “gore gamey hunted fantast-ish killing class” vibes at all
this book is more about how they build a relationship and open up rather than focusing on the killing parts, it has a couple gore scenes but it’s not the center of it. sooo so so different, i’m just so obsessed with rowan and sloane and nothing is gonna top them EVER their story had so much depth and ugh they are perfect
they had me kickin my feet sometimes ngl the tension was sexy but also i skimmed some parts bc i just wasn’t hooked to it, i liked the plot but at times it felt kinda bland??? i still wanted to know how it ended so i just finished it and OH MY-
THE LAST FEW SPICEY SCENES?? wheeewww pls i need more
so yeah good book honestly pretty entertaining and different, it was nice to take a break from the same type of books i’m used to
when is she gonna release the next tho😭
