I found this an inconsistent read. The poetic prose sometimes really added to the nostalgic tone, and sometimes made for an obtuse mess of words. A really uncomfortable read at some points, given Lee refusal to remove his rose tinted glasses. Overall, not a bad book, just not the book for me.
