Honestly, I have a few words to describe this book
It was not something I usually fancy, but it touched me deeply. From the tough and badass characters I'm usually accustomed to, I was met with these two soft, kind queens that have stolen my heart. I absolutely loved the beauty of it all. The gentleness of their love. It was a retelling that managed to explore the love I have in general for Hades and Persephone. I appreciated very much how affection was shown in this book. Embraces and kisses and AHHHHH. Gave me such a soothing feeling. Felt like I was there, gathered up in their arms, and it was all okay. Plot wise, it wasn't that much of a thing, but I took it as a more of a character oriented book, which is the reason why I was not bothered by any of the plot holes. The characters were genuinely something different and I loved that. I loved reading about this softness and simply, the power of love. (Please, I want to marry Hades. She will be mine. Nevermind, I want both of them.🙏🏻😩)
