Wow, what a conclusion to the trilogy. I was not expecting to be as taken with these books as I ended up being. Pam Godwin created a fascinating story that kept me riveted. It has some very dark elements and difficult things to read about. Definitely check the trigger warnings.
I don't really want to give away anything so I won't go into specifics since it's best to just let the story unfold. Characters that I didn't like in the first book changed and evolved so that I was eventually rooting for them. That really surprised me. These books have to be read in order and are not stand alones. I look forward to the spinoff book coming later this year.
