It was ok. I think this book had some potential but the writing style wasn’t my favorite. Talon’s past is revealed slowly throughout the book and you know he endured something horrible. He’s never dealt with it, so he’s kind of an ass. Jade seems to be the only one who gets through to him but I didn’t really feel anything more than a sexual connection between them. The ending is intriguing though... So many people I know love this series. Maybe the story builds and gets better as it goes... 🤷🏽♀️ I might give book 2 a try.
