Stephanie Plum is back and is trying to capture the kindly old man who runs the burg's candy and soda shop. In trying to capture him, Stephanie stumbles upon the fact dealers are being killed and heavy users are ODing in record numbers. Joe morelli and ranger hit the Plum reisidence twice for dinner. Grandma Mazur decides she too needs a stud muffin (although she seems a bit restrained this outing). Lula offers her assistance. Stephanie tries to destroy her new baby truck and, of course, can't do anything to big blue.

Good. Stephanie chasing a fugitive while having her hair colored is funny. Lula is good for a laugh, and Connie too.
