I personally enjoyed the authors descriptive writing. Shes the type of author who brings a ton of the senses to life with her writing. Although, I just felt like this book dragged on a lot more than it should have. It didn’t get as interesting until the two characters were at the ‘cabin’ and you find out who the masked kidnappers were.
I still enjoyed the backstory , the scenes after finally being in the cabin part, and again the authors descriptive writing.

I plan on reading more of her books, I just wouldn’t say I loved this one.
