So, narrowly dodging spoilers, this is not a fade-to-black romance. This is not a beast-turns-conveniently-human fantasy. This is a romance that actually is what it says—she’s sleeping with a dragon. Still here? Not fleeing at breakneck speed? Okay, here’s your spoiler the dual cock sex scenes are extremely well written, but ye gods it is impossible to listen to this audiobook in public. Massive respect to Katee Roberts AND the narrators. Color me scandalized but impressed.
Hands down, my favorite part of the book is the contrast between her past with abuse and her current situation where her needs are prioritized. Deftly and thoughtfully handled.
