“Paying pretty close attention for someone who professed to hate me.” She hums thoughtfully. “What’s that saying about keeping your enemies closer?” “We’re not enemies, Rosalie.” “Things might be a lot simpler if we were.”

I knew I would love this book but didn't expect it to be so humorous IT WAS EVERYTHING! Ford & Rosalie have my whole heart! They were definitely one of the top couples I read this year! I loved Rosie wholeheartedly, her entire personality was like a warm blanket and I loved how she ruffled Ford's feathers but was also his biggest protector. Ford in the beginning was a mysterious character but once I got to know him more and the things he did for Rosie were revealed, I couldn't help but fall irrevocably in love with him! Their relationship was just so heartwarming and I loved the way they bickered because it was just so entertaining lol! Also the side characters were really great especially Wes & Cora and also Ford's parents, the comic element their dialogues added to the story was immaculate and I was left cackling throughout the entire length of the book. I usually don't go for single dad romances but this one was so different than what I had imagined. I'm now convinced that Elsie writes this trope better than anyone else, hands down because this book has ZERO FLAWS! I'm already in love with this series and I can't wait for the next book already because I AM OBSESSED!!!
