Went into this not really knowing what to expect. With each page, I knew even less what to expect. Killian and Glyn didn't exactly give me butterflies (but there were fireflies IYKYK). The thing about Killian is that he's a psycho. Like an honest to God, doesn't feel love kind of psycho. That didn't change. I'm actually glad. I hate those stories where the MMC doesn't feel anything until magically he does because of one person. Psychopathy doesn't just go away despite what some other books tell you. Killian stuck with his crazy. I do think that he feels affection for her but in his own way, which is a combination of possession and protection.
Every single person being tied to the Russian mob got old. It would be different if they were actually in Russia. It basically lends itself to a pissing contest between the families.

Thoughts While Reading:
🥹Fireflies 💕
🔪Lan & Killian fighting makes me think of Dexter. Just trying to out psycho one another 🤣
