All The Feels
by Olivia Dade
*I received this book for free from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. Thank you so much to NetGalley and Avon/Harper Voyager for this ARC!*
After I read and loved Spoiler Alert earlier this year, I knew that I needed to get my hands on All the Feels as soon as possible. So, I was very excited when I got an ARC of this delightful sequel. We are introduced to Alex’s character in the first book, so I was very excited to get to see his love story unfold.
Speaking of Alex, he was such a fun character to follow. He is obviously a fun and funny guy, but he has hidden depths to him that make him so interesting. I also loved Lauren. I loved her dry, deadpan humor and how she was really a soft little cinnamon roll under her slightly stoic exterior. The hidden depths of both of these characters made this love story very special.
I enjoyed that this book felt a bit more insular than the first one. We really only interact with Alex and Lauren for large swaths of the book, and I really liked that. When other characters were introduced into the storyline, it was always in just the right amount to add some color.
I really liked the body positivity in this book as well. Lauren is a big girl, and she is not ashamed of how she looks. She is confident, even in the face of prejudice and outright rudeness. I found this to be incredibly inspiring, as someone who struggles with her weight and body image issues. I am glad that we are starting to see more diversity in romance novels as of late.
All in all, this was a sweet little romance with great body positivity messaging. I would definitely recommend it!
My Rating:
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I gave All the Feels 4 Stars!!
