I am officially in love with Casteel and Poppy! Especially Casteel (I can see past the post-coital betrayal). I love how JLA writes! She writes detailed, but not boring. Flowery, but not tedious. And the way she writes spice?! 🤌 I know that vampires and werewolves aren't new, but damn, this is good! I love how the characters are so nicely fleshed out, the feel real emotions and they are complex. I loved the marriage scene (and stayed up way too late to listen to it), but I equally love the post-fight spice . I can't wait to see what is next! Also, the series has me obsessed! And, Casteel is now #3 on my book boyfri3nd list. Watch out Rhysand and Xaden 🤣
