AWTWB has a lot of tonal similarities with WS compared to CO.
The characters and character dynamics are wonderfully explored/expanded especially their traumas, flaws, internal struggles etc.
Very obvious that RR usually writes contemporary novels instead of fantasy. The World of Mages is interesting but not as explored with as I would have liked. The ending felt a bit rushed/anticlimactic.
