Loose Fish: Vol. 1 - A Memoir in Stories by Beverly A. Jackson

5.0

This memoir takes you on a journey you don't want to end thanks to the sharp insights into the narrator's psyche and life, and into the way the childhood, the family and the constant dislocation act upon her choices. The longing for real friendship and love and the suffering from loss accompany you through the book, but there are also humorous or celeb-involving tales that lighten this journey. I enjoyed it a lot!
