10/5 stars, holy cannoli. This book was basically perfection. Pirates! Adventure! Magic! High stakes! An older woman protagonist! A rich world and lovable characters! This book has everything. I read over 70% of it in a single day and had multiple moments in which I was so immersed that I lost track of what was happening around me. Wow I loved this book SO MUCH, I can't WAIT to read the sequels whenever they come out.
