This is a very emotional, and beautiful slow-burn romance. It made me feel deeply.
The story follows Shannon Lynch, who was bullied in her secondary school and transferred to a new school, Tommen College where she meets Johnny Kavanaugh, a rugby star player on her first day of school and the story takes off from there.
We basically see these two slowly fall in love while going through hard times in other parts of their lives. Especially Shannon…poor baby was going through so much. They find safety, peace and home in each other.🥹
One thing I love about this book is how long, vivid and detailed it is. The author takes us through almost every single day of their lives. It’s 800 pages but you wouldn’t even notice because you’re so immersed in it.
Johnny and Shannon are so lovely together and their moments/scenes are so intimate and warm to the point I feel like an intruder watching them.😂

Their story doesn’t end in this book though, it ends in a second book, Keeping 13.
I’m currently reading that and it’s just as beautiful.💕
