Story concept? SO CREATIVE!
The journey the character goes on? Has me on the edge of my seat!
The writing style? STUNNING!
Towards the last half of the book, the structure was becoming more chaotic and I was finding it harder to believe in the story. There were twists that were really unpleasant to read about, and didn’t think some of the terrible things that happened to January were entirely purposeful, or thought-out beyond for the sake of adding drama and darker themes. I think it’s a brilliant book that you should definitely read, but there’s so much room for structural and conceptual improvement.
Didn’t really care about the romance in the story at all, was super predictable.
My imagination was so vivid whilst reading this story, and I think Harrow’s writing styles and creative leaps were exciting!
