F*ck me. 

That's going to take a while to digest. 

It's like Tom Clancy, Hawking, and a Max Gladstone got high as kites and co-wrote a novel. 

It's precise where it doesn't need to be (all the military stuff) to bolster suspension of disbelief when number theory and cosmology gets mixed in with practical theology. 

Dickinson is profoundly odd in all sorts of interesting ways. He thinks deeply about what it is to be human, to make choices, to resist power when powerless.
