The One Who Got Away by K. L. Shannon
4.0
It is no secret I love to find and read debut or baby authors. Sometimes, I find them through word of mouth or social media, but I found this author via PR. The blurb sold me, and I was not disappointed. There is an age gap, singer/songwriter, and Momma Mia vibes.
I love Hannah; she is strong and tenacious about her dreams. Rory was the one I needed to warm up to, but eventually he did. What sold me on the book was the local, the descriptions of the beaches, sunrise, and sunsets. The characters are a found family I would love to be a part of.
I plan to follow this author and see what comes next!
Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review
