I got halfway through before I realized I was only halfway through. At which point I felt exhausted at the prospect of continuing. I feel like the plot is being stretched out far too much. I'm also currently reading a number of books that just are appealing to me more. And at the end of the day (or during the course of one), I'd rather hang out with the other fictional detectives I've been reading about.
