Time Travelling with a Hamster
by Ross Welford
The book is actually quite interesting and throughout the book, you see Al suffering from a lot of emotions and doing a lot of things about which he has mixed feelings. He goes through a lot of situations and he needs to improvise loads of times to bring the best of where he finds himself and to achieve his goal. You also get a lot of different characters like a 'hellish' STEPsister and a stepfather that's trying a lot to make his stepson love him, a mother who really is like any other mother (only she marries another man after her first husband dies ), and a grandfather who has a remarkable memory and is also the writer of an ancient boring book, a father only in his past boyhood, and a bully. The book is made better by the existence of the hamster. All in all the book is delightful and the presence of little bullet lists makees the book more interesting and not boring.
