Reread for the 2nd time thoughts:
Ohhh-kay. So the I tried my very best to be in the mood for this book. To be honest I like it more than the first time. The concept of time travel, I might say, is well thought of. The adventure of finding the missing astrolabe is interesting enough as they search from clues. HOWEVER, the romance in this book is really overpowering the whole plot. The attraction of the characters fit well to angst adult contemporary than a time travel book. I really want to bump this book up a half star but I can't. The romance is cringy at its finest. I wished the author has toned it down a little.
Thoughts on first reading it:
NOT A FAN. The beginning is okay, the middle is bearable and I struggle in the last 4 chapters and I did not like it A LOT. The characters are frustrating and unlikable! 2.25 to 2.5 out of 5 stars.
