this was cute! i feel like i still wanted more, but that comes with the territory i suppose. i loved getting to see more of sloane and lovedddd xavier. what a great mmc and what a good match for sloane.
what started out as a joke turned into a need to read all of ana huang’s books. are they great writing? no. are they super original? also no. but they’re great palette cleansers and feel good romances that now seem to have a bit of mystery to themi assume the mercenary group that burned the vault is also connected to dominic’s brother? and sloane said she bumped into a man she sort of recognized but couldn’t name?
for how spicy i thought the twisted love series was, i feel like the kings of sin under deliver on that front. but, i do think the stories have a bit more substance so i guess that’s the trade off
