This was a very enjoyable sequel! Some spoilers if you’ve not read past books…
Cassia is abdicating the throne she inherited to be with Lio instead and is trying to help her sister Solia from having to be forced to take the throne. And to do this, Cassia has to go back to a place she didn’t think she’d ever have to go back to.
I love the found family in this book, aside from all the political intrigue, there is a lot of family and friends that get together and help each other and I just loved it!
If you love political intrigue, then you’ll love this one! Part of the reason I gave it 4 stars is because the political intrigue was a bit much for me and I wasn’t a fan of Solia.
