I know what most people are thinking, "Only three stars?!?" Yes, I did 3 🌟 it. I absolutely enjoy Center's books, and I enjoyed this one, too. Three stars, to me, means it was a good book. It just had a few bumps along the way.
First off, I have to say that I learned something new in this book. I had no idea face blindness was a thing, and reading about it was interesting. I also really enjoyed Peanut. Then again, I'm an animal lover through and through. It also had its fair share of laughable moments. The novel wrapped up nicely in the end, but I struggled to keep going at times. Usually, I can't put a Center book down, and with this one, I had to coax myself to pick it up again. It just seemed to move along slowly for good portions of it.
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC and opportunity to provide an hinest review. I do recommend this book if you enjoy romance with funny moments and interesting characters.
