The Book of Life by Deborah Harkness

4.0

The Book of Life took me a bit to get into because I couldn't remember what happened in the second book. I quickly got reacclimated and found myself not being able to put this book down. I really enjoyed reading how Diana's powers manifested in this story and how the issues with Benjamin and the Covenant concluded. There was a lot of action and drama while still having the appeal of an academic scavenger hunt. Despite being over 500 pages and the academic themes, it's easy and enjoyable to read.
