Starting to read the Narnia series again and started with this one. It gives the reader a peek at how Narnia came to be. It is a fun addition to the series but wasn't anything extraordinary. You learn about the witch, Aslan, the first King and Queen of Narnia, the lamppost, and more. Uncle Andrew was good comedic relief and always did something out of pocket. It did not compare with other children fantasy books and could have had more plot and adventure in it but overall wasn't bad. Definitely would recommend reading it if you are planning to read other Narnia books.
