Jack of Thorns
by A.K. Faulkner, Amelia Faulkner
I wasn't quite sure about this story, especially because of how it jumped around at first. Were they memories? Were they just dreams? But then we get to see how Laurence meets Quentin and Jack, and it definitely take off from then. So hang in for the first 50 pages or so. It will be worth it.
Even after finishing it, there are still mysteries as to exactly what Laurence and Quentin can do, what potential is there for them, what happened to Quentin in the past, and their HFN. All of that just makes me want to find out, so the next book in the series has already been downloaded.
