Picked this up by chance looking for another graphic novel and I’m so glad I did.
A bunch of beautifully written and drawn short stories with interwoven themes of grief, loss (of people, time and things) and needing to slow down and appreciate what and who is around you.
I love that even with ultra short stories, I felt for the characters and cried on more than one occasion.
Also I wish there was a sleep app like Sleep Space that worked as well for me as it did for the characters throughout the book.
This will definitely be a book I come back to over and over again when I want to recenter myself or just curl up on the couch with a cozy blanket when I need a break from the world.
Also if you were a Tumblr girlie in the early aughts, you’ll definitely like it.
