The Assassin and the Healer by Sarah J. Maas

3.0

I am assuming that the healer becomes important at a later point in time, but this novella was just okay. I loved the badass FMC energy that was happening, but I didn't feel like it added much to Celaena's story.

The only thing that I did get out of this novella was that maybe Celaena is a healer? But other than that it was just her training the healer and honestly this barely held my attention. It felt like it was taking sooooooooooo long to get to the point. I was almost at the point where I was ready to put the book down and quit on the series because I was that bored.

I'm sure if the healer is important later I will appreciate this novella, but right now that's not the case.
