This is a sweet coming of age book about witches, magic, friendship, and family. It is about listening to yourself and those who care for you in order to determine a pathway forward. I enjoyed this read though at times some of the relationship building felt a bit rushed. That being said I thought the magic system and history was really interesting and this story had a badass fat protagonist who was confident and learned to ask for help. Highly recommend this read for teens and adults alike.
