This book overlaps with the events of The Queer Principles of Kit Webb but you don’t necessarily need to have read the previous book. 

Though the relationship at the center of this novel is between a man and a woman, at least one of the pair is bisexual and the book still explores underrepresented areas of sex and sexuality.
