Emotional story about friends, family and the community. I liked some of the characters and was invested in them. I wanted to know who was behind the attempted murder. I was invested in Thea and her parents.  I do wish there was more about Thea's father, and his visions.  I wanted to know more about the parents and the past connections with friends.
