I’ve probably said this about a third of the books in the series as I’ve read them, but this one is my favourite. Out of all the mysteries, I was the most invested in this one (and my theory was close enough to being correct). I’m serious this time.
We got to learn more about Asia Village and see Megan develop more as Lana’s best friend. And Kimmy as well. She was very entertaining and chaotic to read once she started tagging along. And also Detective Trudeau actually helping her out this time (a bit) and being an adorable couple about it too. I love their banter so freaking much.
