Thoroughly enjoyed this book though I don’t think it’s without its issues. I did feel there was too much reliance on analogies in order to increase the word count and fill the pages, but other than that minor annoyance, I thought the story had good pacing. It also had enough suspense to keep me from dwelling on any perceived shortcomings. I sort of guessed some of the twists before they happened, but that didn’t steal any enjoyment for me. I read this book over the course of 2 days, and did even get goosebumps a few times. I’d happily read another book from this author
