I am a huge fan of ace of spades so I was so excited to read it and it did not disappoint! Like always, Faridah knows how to mess with my brain I enjoyed every part of it!
I’m glad the book was written in the third pov, I felt like I had an over view of the whole plot. I think Sade and Elizabeth are so strong and their back stories were so sad:(
I love Baz! He’s a real ride or die and we all need a friend like him! I think through him and the headmasters of the school, Faridah exposed the problems with the justice system especially with the lack of support victims get. Even if this is a ficitional novel, it is very clear that the issues highlighted are very real and I hope society be able to address them.
The pacing of the book was perfect, it wasn’t too slow and even if sometimes I was asking myself where a certain chapter was going, she managed to wrap everything together and make a good and coherent story. I really enjoyed this book and I definitely recommend it!
